Cards To Look For

Some cards that you can look for are autograph cards( especially famous players), relic cards( jersey cards ), parallel cards which is when a card is numbered out of a certain number (as seen in the first post). In hockey packs look for rookie cards (especially Connor McDavid rookies) which sell for about $300. Also look for old cards in mint (new) condition. The most valuable baseball card is a Honus Wagner card from 1920 which is worth $ 2 million.

History Of Sports Cards

The first sports cards were baseball cards in the mid 1850's. Since then many companies have started such as Upper Deck(r), Topps(r), Fleer(r), etc. Many different types of cards have been created since then such as relic cards (jersey cards), autograph cards and parallel cards( which are cards that are numbered  for example a card that says 44/99) are the main three cards that are in most packs. There are cards for hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball, etc. Link: http://www.cycleback.com/1800s/briefhistory.htm
